Installation services and budget costs.

All domestic electric underfloor heating installations are now notifiable under the new part "P" building regulations introduced at the start of 2005.

In practice this means any non-certified person installing these systems must notify ther local authority building control office prior to, during and after installation. Cost for the required building control inspections is currently £100.00 + VAT.

The above inspections and associated costs are not required provided that the heating system is installed and tested by a certified "competant" person. Part "P" certified individuals or companys will carry out all required testing procedures and have authority to certify there own work directly to building control.

Ambient are certified by BSI which entitles us to use the prestigious BS kite mark as assurance of the quality of work we carry out. Ambient offer both full and partial installation services across Essex, Kent, Camb's, Herts, Norfolk, Suffolk, London and the South East.

As part of our commitement to quality we provide a comprehensive insurance backed warranty free of charge, this is in addition to the heating system manufacturers 10 year guarantee.

Partial installation including electrical testing ,commisioning and certification : prices start from £150.00 dependant on location. This includes all necessary documentation to qualify for the heating cable manufacturers ten year warranty.

Full installation includes all electrical works and certifications and provides a finished floor surface ready for tiling or final floor finishing, wood laminate for example. Prices will vary dependant on site requirements, please enquire via the contacts page for an estimate.
