Underfloor heating - why?

Electric Underfloor Heating can provide a highly cost effective and discrete heating solution for many areas of the home, in particular Conservatories, Kitchens, Bathrooms and Extensions.

A well designed system will provide good controlability, economy, and many years of maintenance free service.

With all the room heat generated at ground level occupants benefit from the heat riseing evenly through the space without the hot spots and heat layers associated with single point high heat systems such as radiators.

The luxury of warmth from floor surfaces which we expect to be cold really is something special and with the heat source being hidden, with the exception of our stylish programmer, is extremaly practical. No wall space lost to ugly radiators either. 

An electric underfloor heating system will generaly cost slightly more to run than a Gas fired wet system but with installation costs at less than 50% of a properly controlled plumbed system it is still the most affordable means of providing  the most efficient form of space heating there is.

With the brief overview above it is important to emphasise that each and every installation is different, different insulation levels, different use requirements etc. It is therfore advisable to take design advice from people who install and understand these heating systems, not just sell them.
