While every effort will be made to meet the customer's demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of Acts of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought or other causes beyond our control. If the product is returned in its exact original condition within 28 days, with any tags or stickers intact, then a full refund or exchange will be provided. No refund or exchange will be given if the product has been tampered with, or has a tag or sticker that has been removed. We will refund or exchange if the item is defective. The unwanted products must be returned by recorded delivery to our warehouse address. As long as the products have not reached their destination, they remain your entire responsibility. In case of a defective product, the cost of returning the product will be refunded. Errors or omissions must be reported within seven working days of delivery.

Delivery Schedule

Next (working) day delivery is standard for all stock items provided orders are received and processed prior to 2.30pm.

All next day and timed deliveries are subject to our carriers (APC Overnight) Terms & conditions. Ambient Electrical Ltd will not be held liable for missed delivery times or delays and the consequeces therof.  

Non stock or temporarily out of stock items will be back ordered for you. You will be notified by e-mail of expected delivery date and given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns policy

We will gladly replace any goods returned to us which are found to be faulty.

Incorrectly ordered or surplus goods must be notified within 14 days, you will be given a returns number and then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. 

Errors or omissions must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

In exceptional circumstances we may accept "as new" goods for return outside of the 28 day period, in this case a restocking charge will be applied as well as a charge to cover the cost of outward carriage.

The restocking charge is to cover the cost of electrical safety testing and the administration required prior to resale of goods, the Current charge is £12.95 per heating mat or cable. Outward carriage charge £9.95 per heating system.

We will not accept returns of Tile Adhesives, Leveling Compounds, part boxes of insulation or incomplete heating systems.

All returns must be in as new condition with original packaging and be accompanied by a returns number allocated by us, please call or email us for a returns authorisation.
